Flying Colors Butterfly Festival June 2-3

THE FLYING COLORS BUTTERFLY FESTIVAL DELIGHTS EVERYONE ON Saturday & Sunday, June 2-3 at Chattahoochee Nature Center as Monarchs and Milkweed take center stage so we can celebrate these the accomplishments of these pretty pollinators. This day pleases children and adults; and it is one of the most important fundraising activities of the year for the CNC.

WHAT AWAITS US:
• Live Butterfly Releases on Sunday at 11AM and 1:30PM
• Butterfly Encounters through the weekend with hundreds of butterflies
• The sale of the specific plants which make great hosts and nectar for Butterflies

Participating vendors include Forestique, Metro Atlanta Beekeepers Association, Bee Wild, The Passionate Preserver, GA Nature Photographers Association, Be Natural Gardens, IT Element, Flower Crowns by Emily  White and Lakeshore Learning. Tasty food is provided from Gotta Have It, King of Pops, Brusters Ice Cream, and Let’s Taco Bout It. Live Entertainment will be provided by Cadyn Lexa, Caribbean Steel (and more TBA). 

Sponsors who make the festival free and possible include Cox Enterprises, Macy’s, Northside Hospital, AJC, KIND and GoGo Squeeze.

Please Carpool! There is limited parking in the CNC parking lot. There will also be free shuttle bus service available from St. Francis School near the corner of Willeo/Azalea and Highway 120. Please note cash may be needed for some vendors including food, and as usual pets are not allowed on the CNC grounds. CNC is located at 9135 Willeo Road.
