SPRINGTIME IS THE PERFECT TIME to make a commitment to go outside. Roswell sweet-talks us with her beautiful blooms, warm weather and an increase in community events. Now that our doctors will be writing prescriptions for parks we will have no more excuses. Here are ‘al fresco’ healthy reasons to head to a park:

HIKES BY ATLANTA OUTDOOR CLUB (www.atlantaoutdoorclub.com)
Leita Thompson Park Hike
6 miles, 2 hour hike every Tuesday at 10:00 AM
3 Trails: yellow (1.12 miles), blue (2 miles), red trail (2.25 miles).\

Azalea Drive Riverwalk Hike
3 miles, 1 hour hike every Thursday night at 8:00 PM
This trail along Chattahoochee River is flat and asphalt.

Walk With Ease Program
Made possible through an NRPA grant, this FREE program helps participants improve their health and being social.

YOGA ON THE GREEN - outside City Hall / ALIVE at Five
Roswell’s KORSI YOGA (www.korsiyoga.com) will be teaching yoga and meditation demos during ALIVE in Roswell, the 3rd Thursday of each month. 5PM to 9PM. Next Up: April 19 and May 17 

CANTON ST TO BE A ONE-DAY-ONLY PUBLIC PARK
Bike Roswell! and the City will convert a 5-block section of Canton St into a public park, as part of the Roswell Moves! open streets event on Sunday, April 29th, from 11AM to 3PM. This hopes to encourage walking, pedaling, rolling, and playing. Korsi Yoga will offer yoga classes at the event. (www.bikeroswell.com)
